Stylus Music proudly presents "RADIO CAROLINE SHOW Programme 3 -EXCITING GUITAR PERFORMANCES" (10PTING 276)

This is the result of my third appearance on Del Richardson's 'Good Rockin' Tonight' broadcast on 17-07-17. Every track is complete with an edited commentary which stretches to Disc 2 for the first 10 minutes. The rest of the second disc has all the tracks in full without any talking whatsoever. We begin in 1953 with the boogie blues of Earl Hooker, passing an early hint at James Burton's magic as part of Bob Luman's outfit, The Shadows. There is the wonderful pairing of Ray Stanley (piano) with Eddie Cochran and plenty of hot picking from the likes of Link Ray, Lonnie Mack, Roy Buchanan. Their is Ventures guitarist, Nokie Edwards in The Marksmen, the unmistakeable Ritchie Blackmore and Chas Hodges on the US only release by The Lancasters. The set  closing on the pseudo-classical guitar rage of Episode Six.
