Stylus Music proudly presents "OBSCURE UK LABELS Volume 2 (53-67)" (10 PTING 292)

Looking at British blues on the Purdah label (a subsidiary of Blue Horizon) plus a mixture on King which was a subsidiary of R&B Discs and leased from the USA, Holland not to mention the UK.  Check Alexis Korner's All Stars featuring Johnny Parker. The George Brown sides feature the steel guitar playing of Gordon Huntley. Outasite leased exclusively from the USA but releases were limited to 99 copies per release ( a way to avoid paying tax at the time). More US soul releases from Cameo Parkway, Roulette and Esquire. Saga was a typical UK label, a subsidiary of Saga Films. And whilst the London label is not obscure, these 1954 releases by Johnny Maddox and Sandy Coker certainly are. Again, Vogue is not so obscure but finding a 1955 copy of the Muddy Waters EP and the totally obscure Harold Jackson single certainly is.
