Ticky Show started out as a conventional dance band called Ticky Show Quintet in 1960 complete with accordion and double bass, but soon The Shadows and other groups inspired a change of style. After several radio appearances they hit with their EP En Afton Pa Olijaren but only managed one more release before the first military draft caused the group to fold. The first 10 tracks come from that 1962-63 period while the others were recorded by the same line - up in 1992 1995. Alan Taylor Pipeline Magazine*
