This is a really nice gatefold sleeve double  7" single. Good story behind this release..Lost and Forgotten sheet music  from 1963 is the base for this stunning EP. Englishmen Colin Pryce - Jones and John Tuck, both known from the renowned group The Rapiers, have teamed up with Norway's talented musician Per Oydir of Kare and the Cavemen, Pete Berry & the Shake Set and Perry Dear & the Deerstalkers fame. Together they have recorded the melodies from the Jet Harris Guitar Book in the way they believe Jet Harris himself would have done back in 63.
This EP was recorded in London's Toe Rag Studios, with producer Liam Watson (yep he wears the white coat) who rounds up this unparalleled dream team. Colin was happy to admit this project was purely done because it needed to be done, and who gives up the opportunity to time travel and record just as you would've done with songs and equipment from the sixties.
Does it sound as if it was from that era....you be the judge.
