Stylus Music proudly announces the arrival of " THE SHADOWS MUSICAL INFLUENCE AROUND THE WORLD vol 1 " (10PTING 314).

Rather than pick out the hits Stylus have gone for rarities, EP and LP tracks plus a few that were originally featuring Cliff on vocals. From the early days we find a real raucous version of 'Bongo Blues' originating from the rain-forests of Brazil. A great track by Los Dangers from Venezuela and just as obscure three tracks from Tony Frias & the Frolics including a superb rendition of 'The Young Ones'. Closer to home sit Les Gadgets from France with an EP track 'Mustang' and from the same EP 'Shotgun'from Poland. Bo Winberg hiding behind The Feenades brings 'Kon-Tiki' to the table whilst the seldom covered 'Blue Shadows' arrives from Denmark. Another Cliff song 'Wonderful Life' makes a smashing instrumental from South Africa as does 'On The Beach'  from band Blue Ace from Japan. A generous 30 tracks in all and promise of a second volume later in the year! Twangtastic indeed !
