Stylus Music proudly present " Extracts from AMERICAN GUITAR ALBUMS Vol 1 (1957-1969) (10PTING 331)
A new series focusing on albums rather than singles this time such as The Dalton Brothers who were marketed as The Walker Brothers even though only Scott Engel was in the band and 7 of the 10 tracks released were instrumentals. Remember the million selling single of 1970 called 'Airport'? Well, it was by Vinny (Vincent) Bell whose debut album in 1959 featured his 'Soundtronic Guitar'. We also feature the debut from Dennis Budimir and Harlow Wilcox and the Oakies. Plus 3 superb Chuck Berry covers complete with stand-up bass and David Seville pre-Chipmunks!
Vol 2 is lined up to go already with Dean Hightower. Tornadoes, Sentinels, Jimmy Crain and Davie Allan.
