This long-loved series returns with another 33 tracks from the lexicon of American 60s singles. Quickly browsing some of the artists and titles you may think that you have been here before. However, groups were notorious for re using names over and over again such as The Big Beats, The Shades, The Silvertones, The Royals and The Rockets. Thanks to detailed sleeve notes into all tracks featured, the listener will be able to ascertain the merits of this jungle of names, titles etc. All these tracks go back to the collection of Alan Smith, obtained during the year 2018 and now sequenced in a way to bring new life to old music. Rocky & his Friends open the show in powerful form from 1965 and close behind The Satans one-off 45 from 63 who might just be the same group that recorded the album Raisin' Hell a year earlier. From the late 50s, The Keytones rock up William Tell with the help of the Billy Costa Orchestra. Who doesn't admire a Freddy King tune and The Pace Setters try out 'Heads Up'. Who calls a track Ad Lib?  well, The Galaxies did. Does that track Blue Booze sound familiar? That is because it was originally released by The Sentinels. You may be aware that Mandrake released The Witch's Twist on UK Philips in 1960 but he also recorded at least 3 others, one under his real name of Vinnie Rogers. When you finally get to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata then it is time to go back to track 1 and repeat the playing as many times a s required.
