Stylus Music proudly presents " A splash of 60s TV THEMES" (STYLUS 10PTING 334)

In severable ways this is probably the follow up to Stylus 168 'Best of British Vol2 " released in 2013. That did however include films which are not here. almost all taken from TV serials.

Whilst the majority lie in the 60s. there is a handful from the late 50s such as The Richard Diamond Theme and Elizabethan Serenade. Fast forward to the early 70s for a few choice examples like Dial  M for Murder with the inclusion of the BBC's radiophonic Workshop as well as the haunting Callan Theme from our old friend Bert Weedon.

Iconic 60s shows include The Prisoner (Ron Grainer at his best), the edgy theme from Danger Man plus several items that were lesser known such as Tightrope, Special Project, The Pursuers and Adam Adamant. We have also unearthed some excellent examples of Batman and Tarzan themes plus a really brassy example of Saturday Club (one of two radio themes). Compilations are made to be enjoyed in their entirety which we hope this will achieve. A big of reggae too? Maybe. The intro/outro are 30 seconds from Outbreak of Murder.
