Stylus music proudly presents "THE SHADOWS MUSICAL INFLUENCE AROUND THE WORLD VOLUME 5" (10PTING 343)

Once again we have 30 examples of  World-wide bands either playing covers of Shadows tunes or perhaps inspired by them. This time we have included an EP track from Jet Harris called 'Rave' plus his hit 45 The Man With The Golden Arm. Apart from that we have a copy of Jet & Tonys' hit Scarlet O'Hara from New Zealand. Three tracks that have never been released anywhere before by Nottingham band The Limelights and these are clean studio recordings from 1965. A rare live version of See You In My Drums from Denmark and a great version of Shindig performed by Americans, Vinny Bell & The Bellmen. Of course there are well known singles from South Africa (Johnny & The G Men), The Phantoms from Australia and The Jet Blacks from Brazil. Then there are album tracks from the aforementioned Limelights, plus The Flairs and The Gadgets. Inspired tracks from The Quests (Singapore), The Jockeys (Denmark) and Max Merritt & The Meteors (New Zealand) helped to keep the sound of the Shadows alive for so many people.
