We are back with more original American recordings with a difference. the first 15 tracks are by guitarist Vinny Lee, either with his group, The Riders or as part of The Ramrods. Note there were other groups with the same name but here we feature the Connecticut outfit. The Ramrods hit both the UK & US charts with their version of 'Ghost Riders In the Sky' in 1960 but Vinny was making great records under his own name such as 'Mule Train Rock'. We can now bring most of Vinny's catalogue together on one CD. Other tracks include Orange County's Trademarks and their highly infectious two part surf single 'Baha-Ree-Ba'. From Hollywood area came the Fabulous Playboys and The Enchanters. The haunting sound of the Tornados, 'Telstar' made a lasting impression as witnessed by Dick Wolfe & The Wolverines, primarily on the Electric guitar. If you are familiar with 'The Ventures In Space' LP we have the original 1958 version of 'The Bat' by steel guitar player Alvino Rey. Plenty more rockers to get your feet a-tappin', no matter what your taste, there are 34 tracks here to get your teeth into!
